Makes 1.5 Pizzas
- 2 cp brown rice flour
- 1 cp tapioca starch
- 1/2 tsp xanthan gum
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3 Tbs honey
- 1 Tbs yeast
- 1 1/4 cp warm water
- 1 Tbs olive oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl combine yeast and 3/4 cp warm water and let sit for 3 min. Add honey, stirring carefully until dissolved, and let sit for 2 min. In separate bowl combine flour, starch, xanthan gum, salt, and baking powder. Add yeast mixture. Add olive oil and remaining water. Lightly coat baking sheet or pizza stone with coconut oil and put dough on. Press dough out to desired thinness (recommend 1/4″). Bake dough for ~25 min or until begins to look dry (cracks can occur). Add sauce, cheese, and toppings. Bake for ~20 min.
For a Single Crust:
- 3/4 cp +2 Tbs brown rice flour
- 1/4 cp + 2 Tbs tapioca starch
- 1/2 tsp xanthan gum
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 6 Tbs cold butter
- 1 Tbs honey
