• 1 pound ground pork, beef, chicken or turkey
  • ½ green apple, peeled and diced
  • 2 Tablespoons Italian sausage spice blend:  1 tsp sea salt, 1 Tbsp ground fennel seeds, 1 Tbsp ground sage, 1 Tbsp granulated garlic, 1 Tbsp onion powder, ¼ tsp white pepper (or 1 tsp black papper), 2 tsp dried parsley (optional)

Mix all together with your hands until the spices and apples are evenly disbursed. Form the mixture into evenly sized patties.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. When hot, place the patties in the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked through and browned.
