• 1 cp + 2 Tbs cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1/4 cp + 2 Tbs coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbs honey
  • 7 large egg yolks
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cp can coconut milk


In small saucepan on low mix cocoa powder, coconut oil, and 2 Tbs honey until smooth and well combined. In bowl whisk egg yolks, 1/4 cp honey, and salt until smooth. In saucepan bring coconut milk and water to a simmer over med heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and whisk 1 cp milk into yolks. Slowly whisk yolks back into milk. Return to low heat and cook, whisking, until thickens and coats back of spoon. Strain and pour in chocolate. Let stand 2 min then whisk and add vanilla. Divide into 6 oz ramekins, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hrs.
